Kulfi seller hammered to death

Aurangabad, May 23 (UNI) A 45-year-old person who was selling kulfi on handcart at Paithan town of district was stabbed to death with a hammer on Sunday.
According to police from Paithan stated that,The incident had caused a stir in the town.
However, the police have arrested the accused in just four hours.
The deceased Mayashankar Prajapati , a resident from other state was ice cream vendor, has been living in Fakir Wada area on Guest House Road in the Paithan since many years. There he has taken his own home. His neighbour Karim Shah (35) are always arguing for small reasons with him. The controversy erupted on Sunday morning .
While Prajapati was pulling out Kulfi's handcart in the morning, Karim hit him in the face with a hammer in which Prajapati was seriously injured.
While Prajapati was being taken to Paithan hospital and then to Aurangabad for immediate treatment by the locals, he was succumbed on the way,they said.
The accused Karim in the murder, was caught by the Paithan police in just four hours and interrogated.
Sub-Inspector of Police Ramakrishna Sagade is further investigating the murder,police added.
For the last two months, a lockdown has been implemented in the district under the name of Corona. However, the number of murders in the district, including Aurangabad city, has increased dramatically.
