In Dali, two hotel staff explained on Sunday that the hotels are operating as usual. The spare rooms are open for booking like normal, mentioning that no guests have checked out due to the earthquake in spite of the aftershocks.

The quake in Yunnan’s Yangbi County of 6.4 magnitudes took three lives and injured 27 on Saturday morning. Hours after the 6.4 magnitude quake in Yunnan, Maduo county of Qinghai Province reported yet another earthquake with a 7.4 magnitude.

For tourists, Yangbi County is not a very popular area. On Saturday, Chinese financial news outlet, Yicai reported added that tourists have not been affected even though people in Dali and surrounding cities can slightly feel the quake.
