Thiruvananthapuram corporation councillor Sabu Jose dies of Covid-19
Sabu Jose won the local body elections as CPM candidate from Vettukadu ward.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: City corporation councillor Sabu Jose died of Covid-19 at a hospital in the city on Monday.
Sabu Jose had tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to the medical college hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. His health condition worsened due to Covid related complications and he was put on ventilator.
As per Covid-19 protocol, his mortal remains will be received by city corporation's health team and will be taken to Santhikavadom for cremation.
Mayor Arya Rajendran condoled Jose's death on her Facebook page.
