Kangana Ranaut’s bodyguard Kumar Hegde was interested in guys, reveals rape victim’s friend
According to the FIR filed at DN Nagar police station, Kumar Hegde promised to marry the victim in June last year. After this, both of them were living in a live-in relationship. Both have known each other for the last 8 years.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s bodyguard Kumar Hegde has been booked under rape charges under fake marriage promises. Hegde has been accused by a Mumbai-based beautician and makeup artist.
The case was registered on the night of 19 May after medical examinations and the statement of the victim late on Wednesday night. The victim told the police that Kumar Hegde is currently working as Kangana Ranaut’s body guard. She met Hegde in 2013. Last year, Hegde proposed to the victim to which she replied positively. Hegde often started coming to the victim’s flat. Gradually, physical relations began to form between the two. She said that Hegde has repeatedly committed sexual relations and unnatural sexual abuse pretending to marry her. The woman forbade Kumar from having a physical relationship.
The accused has also taken 50 thousand rupees from the victim, saying that her mother is ill, and then flew to his village and then stopped answering calls and messages.
According to the victim’s friend Divya’s statement to ABP News, Kumar Hegde has done this with many other girls, pretending to marry them. It had become a habit with him. He would trick the girls into marriage and then maintain a physical relationship with them. Divya also alleged that Hegde was not only interested in girls but also boys. Apparently, Kumar had told these things to the victim once or twice but she thought that it was Kumar’s way of making a joke and she did not pay attention to these things.
She also said that the victim wanted to commit suicide rather than lodge a police complaint against Kumar Hegde and was living with suicidal thoughts since the day she found out that she was cheated. When the victim told her friend about this, her friend explained to her that the wrongdoer should be punished and she should not think of punishing herself.
Not only this, he used to abduct money from them as well. She further added that Kumar Hegde has taken great advantage of being Kangana Ranaut’s bodyguard and used to take advantage of innocent girls in his bluff.
A response from Kangana’s office is still awaited.
