Premier League 2020-21 Last Matchday HIGHLIGHTS: Liverpool beat Crystal Palace to finish on the third spot in the Premier League table. Chelsea lost 2-1 to Aston Villa but finished fourth as Leicester City were beaten 4-2 by Tottenham Hotspur and missed out on Champions League qualification. Sadio Mane brace led to a 2-0 win for Liverpool. Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta saw a red card in the 89th minute but Chelsea will be relieved to make the Champions League qualification despite the loss. Gareth Bale scored twice in the nine minutes to help Tottenham to win over Leicester.

The English Premier League 2020-21 delivered on its final matchday as Leicester City suffered a heartbreak, Chelsea would be relieved while Liverpool would be elated to have made it out of a terrible season with a good result in the end. Chelsea are in the Champions League final against Manchester City but will be relieved to have assured their place in the competition next season. After a disastrous fall from grace for Liverpool all season, they would be extremely happy to have booked their spot in the continental competition next season. Leicester City would be heartbroken given they had the chance to make it only if they had beaten Tottenham.
