Kohima, May 23 (UNI) Nagaland recorded 223 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 20,068.
Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said that among the 223 fresh cases, the highest 78 in Kohima, followed by 77 in Dimapur, 23 in Tuensang, 14 in Phek, 11 in Longleng, 10 in Zunheboto, five in Mokokchung, three in Mon and two in Kiphire.
In recoveries, a total of 137 more patients recovered in Nagaland, which comprises of 95 in Dimapur, 26 in Kohima, five in Tuensang, five in Mon, three in Peren and three in Phek, Mr Phom said.
The active cases are now 4,678, a total 14, 500 people have recovered, while death toll is 274.
