The import of textiles and apparel by the United States increased by 4.32 per cent to $24.645 billion in the first quarter of 2021, compared to imports valued at $23.626 billion in January-March 2020. With 29.20 per cent share, China was the largest supplier of textiles and clothing to the US during the three-month period, followed by Vietnam.
