Telangana: Suryapet police use drones to ensure lock-in implementation

Suryapet: In view of the prevailing COVID-19 Suryapet police in Telangana used drone cameras to patrol and ensure its proper implementation COVID-19 lock-up regulations.

To ensure proper vigilance, a police siren was also attached to the drones.

Suryapet police said in an official statement that they are monitoring the threshold of people using technology and assuring the public of their full support.

“Through this drone surveillance we will see that people do not come outside houses, shops will be closed at the right time, the public does not meet in groups, any form of nuisance is prevented, closure regulations are properly followed, anti-social activities is prevented and law and order in the area is properly maintained “, the Suryapet police informed.

The Telangana government on Tuesday decided to extend the exclusion until May 30 in order to end the second wave of COVID-19. The state government earlier announced a 10-day exclusion from May 12.

Telangana has meanwhile recorded 3,464 fresh COVID-19 cases with 25 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the health bulletin yesterday.
