CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police has arrested three wanted criminals, carrying a collective reward of Rs one lakh on them. Those arrested include one carrying Rs 50,000 bounty and two others with a reward of Rs 25,000 each.
Haryana Police spokesperson informed on Saturday that in the first operation, a police team arrested wanted criminal Kapoor from Lalwa Mor-Nuh Road in Palwal district. Carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his arrest, he was wanted in half-a-dozen cases including that of murder, fatal attack, loot, and under Arms Act.
He alongwith other accused was involved in the murder of a youth that took place on March 29, 2021, in Janauli village in Palwal. One accused involved in this case had already been arrested.
In another crackdown, two most wanted criminals absconding for about last 10 months were arrested from Delhi. Both were apprehended by a team of special task force, Rohtak after getting a tip-off.
DGP Haryana Manoj Yadava had declared a reward of Rs 25,000 each on their arrests.
They were identified as Vikas alias Vicky and Rohit alias Dada, both residents of Aasoda in district Jhajjar. Both were wanted in a murder incident that took place last year in Aasoda village. Police got information about their location and finally managed to arrest them after a raid.
