No death in Panchkula, 206 infected

Panchkula: The district reported no death while 206 persons tested positive for Covid-19 till Friday evening. Among the new cases, 10 each were reported from Sector 10 and 21, 16 from Kalka and 22 from Pinjore. So far, 28,866 persons have been diagnosed with Covid and 26,725 of them have got better of it. There are 1,834 active cases with 307 deaths in the district. TNS

13 more fall prey to virus in Mohali

Mohali: Thirteen persons succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 834. As many as 336 fresh cases surfaced, while 1,003 patients were cured of the disease. Among the new cases, 105 were reported from Mohali (urban), three from Banur, eight from Kurali, 18 from Boothgarh, 22 from Gharuan, 27 from Lalru, 42 from Dera Bassi, 48 from Kharar and 63 from Dhakoli.
