An Exorbitant deal has been signed by Team RRR ahead of its release as the movie's digital and satellite rights have been sold for a whopping Rs.325 Crores. As per sources, the digital rights of SS Rajamouli's upcoming magnum opus (all languages) have been sold for a whopping Rs 325 crore to ZEE5. With this exorbitant deal, RRR has now become the first movie to fetch such a huge amount of money ahead of its release.

A trade analyst revealed that the pre-release business of rrr including Theatrical, wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital, music, and Satellite rights would range between Rs.800-850 Crores and the producers of 'RRR' would profit around Rs.400 Crores. 


The movie is set against the backdrop of the Independence era and it revolves around the life of freedom fighters komaram bheem and Alluri Sita Ramaraju. The team has delayed the release of the movie due to the COVID-19 pandemic and there are speculations around the release date of the movie. It should be noted that Pen Studios acquired the theatrical rights for North India.
