Actor cum Politician Vijayakanth has been admitted to MIOT hospital on the 18th of May early morning as he faced difficulties in breathing. He was immediately taken to the hospital and was given an oxygen supply for breathing. There has been a shortage of Oxygen readings as the Oxygen levels dropped to 90 and the pulse rate also dropped low. His condition was said to be very critical.

The actor underwent a COVID test immediately at the hospital premises and he was tested Negative which came as a huge relief for his fans and well-wishers. The medical team was monitoring his health condition regularly and they noticed his condition got stable and he was able to breathe without the help of oxygen cylinders and his oxygen levels also crossed above 96 and his pulse rate also retained to normalcy.


The medical team has advised him to take complete rest for the next four weeks and he should not strain. He got discharged today early morning and reached his home. It should be noted that even during the recently concluded assembly elections he was unable to participate in any meetings or during vote canvassing. The actor recently announced that he is willing to give his Aandaal Alagar Engineering college for COVID related help.
