WWE Smackdown: Seth Rollins takes credit For Dominik Mysterio’s Championship success
Seth Rollins’ ‘Messiah’ and ‘Embrace the Vision’ gimmicks ever since he turned heel has been taunting everyone in the locker room and WWE Universe. He has been brushing aside and not at all respecting anyone’s success.
In the recent episode of WWE’s The Bump, Seth Rollins has made a shocking revelation regarding Dominik Mysterio’s first-ever title victory in WWE. Dominik, along with his father Rey Mysterio, won the Smackdown Tag-Team titles at Wrestlemania Backlash pay-per-view.
Talking in the podcast, the Messiah Seth Rollins said that Dominik was able to win the championship because he brushed off on him. He said it was because of his interactions with Dominik that the youngster raised his arms in victory with the title in possession. Here’s what Rollins said,
“Who brought Dominik into this business? Who gave him his very first match at Summerslam on a huge stage and helped him deliver? I made that kid the man that he is today. I primed the seal, and that’s why they’re tag team champions. Finally! After everything, I’ve given to them, and that’s just a small example. So, embrace the vision, and maybe you could be like Dominik!”
Rollins has had his clashes with the Mysterio family in the past
During the pandemic in 2020, when WWE moved into the performance center, Seth Rollins had a brief altercation and a storyline with the Mysterio’s. Dominik’s very first Summerslam match was against Rollins, which the former unfortunately lost. Therefore, Rollins and Mysterio’s have had their ups and downs in the past against each other.
What’s next for Seth Rollins?
Seth Rollins is currently involved in a captivating storyline, including The Usos, Roman Reigns, and Cesaro. After his ferocious attack on Cesaro at Wrestlemania Backlash pay-per-view, Rollins is expected to address the digital crowd this Friday on WWE Smackdown. If that happens, Seth might give explanations for his actions, and a sneak peek into the future with his feud against Cesaro and The Usos. Or maybe with Roman Reigns as well for the WWE Universal Championship.
