Greg Germann is ditching his scrubs as he bids farewell to Grey's Anatomy.
The actor is leaving the medical drama as a series regular; however, Deadline reports that he will reprise his role as a guest star in the future.
The 63-year-old played neurosurgeon Dr Tom Koracick for four seasons.
"To have worked with all the incredibly talented people involved with Grey's over the past few years has been such a privilege. A big thank you to the fans, as it has truly been a shared experience," said Greg in a statement.
According to E! News, showrunner Krista Vernoff said: "Greg Germann is a comic genius, and we are so lucky that he brought his talents to our show these last few years. We will miss Greg terribly in the day to day—but we plan to see Tom Koracick again!"
Greg's last episode as a regular aired in the US on Thursday. It was also Jesse Williams' last appearance as Jackson Avery.
