Lucknow: Northern Railways cancels numerous trains from May 22, check before travelling

Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the country as record Covid-19 cases are being reported, almost every state/UT in the country is under a lockdown due to it.

Indian Railways is cancelling numerous trains across the country given the low passenger turnout in trains. To ensure that the passengers do not face any trouble, the railway is providing information about the cancellation of trains from time to time through the Twitter handle of each zone. In the midst of all this, Western Railway has already cancelled many trains running on the routes of New Delhi, Bihar and UP. Western Railway has also cancelled express, Duronto trains for Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar from May 23.

Now, Northern Railway (NR) zone has also decided to halt the operation of several trains given the low passenger turnout.

-Train number 05203 Barauni Jn. - Lucknow Express special train has been cancelled from May 22 for further orders.

-Train number 05204 Lucknow - Barauni Jn. The express special train has been cancelled since 23 May.

-Train number 05269 Muzaffarpur-Ahmedabad Express special has been cancelled from 27 May till further orders.
