Hyderabad: Continue its efforts to build trust with the Covid-19 patients and also make an inventory of the situation in various government hospitals, Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao visited the MGM Hospital in Warangal on Friday. He examined the available facilities in the hospital and assured the patients that they offer the best treatment for their prompt recovery.
The prime minister arrived in Hanmakonda by helicopter on Friday afternoon. He went straight to MGM Hospital where he examined the house. Covid-19 wards, including the general wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), emergency and outpatient wards at MGM Hospital. He spoke directly with the patients undergoing treatment and inquired about their health, food and treatment in the hospital. He reassured them that all measures for their well-being would be taken. He also instructed the health officials to solve the problems that bring patients to his attention.
The prime minister also inspected the oxygen plant installed at MGM Hospital. He instructed the officials to continuously monitor the oxygen and medicine supplies in the hospital to prevent any shortage. He also appreciates the services provided by doctors, nurses and other medical staff.
He is scheduled to chair a meeting with the Heads of Department and professors in the academic block of the hospital. Later, he will visit the central prison of Warangal and examine the land proposed for award to Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University.
