Over a dozen children whose parents are working in state-run Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (SBSSTC) have written an open “letter in blood” to Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh demanding immediate release of salaries to their parents, who have been unpaid for the past six months. The college was recently upgraded to a university.
The children, in the letter, said their parents had been under stress for the past several months. “We don’t ask for anything from our parents these days. I know my father has no money. They have been protesting for the past several months but their voices have fallen on deaf ears,” says Rohan.
