SS president for Kashmir dies of Covid

Srinagar, May 21 (UNI) Shiv Sena (SS) president for Kashmir valley Abdul Khaliq Bhat on Friday died due to COVID-19 in a local hospital in Srinagar, official sources said.
He was admitted to SMHS hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 early this week.
However, Bhat who was also Municipality Committee (MC) Badgam councilor, breathed his last in the hospital today.

BPL patients to get free Covid-19 treatment in Haryana

Chandigarh, May 21 (UNI) While giving a big sigh of relief to the BPL patients of Haryana undergoing COVID-19 treatment in private hospitals, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced that from now onwards the entire treatment cost of such patients will be borne by the state government.
Earlier, the Haryana Government had announced financial assistance of up to Rs 35,000 to such BPL patients.
