Snesex-Nifty Indian Market: Sensex jumps over 500 pts
Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Friday rallied by 541.99 pts at 50,106.85 as buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty too rose by 158.09 pts to 15,064.10.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50,134.29 and 49,832.72 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,069.25 and 14,985.85 respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up by 0.93 pc and Small Cap by 0.92 pc.
In 30 scrips 28 advanced while 2 declined.
The gainers were Indusind Bank by 3.12 pc to Rs 1005.90, ICICI Bank by 2.27 pc to Rs 632.60, HDFC Bank by 1.96 pc to Rs 1461, Axis Bank by 1.76 pc to Rs 718.30 and Kotak Bank by 1.74 pc to Rs 1738.35.
The losers were Powergrid by 0.85 pc to Rs 226.95 and Dr Reddy by 0.22 pc to Rs 5225.
