CUNY Dance Initiative 2021-22 Residency Info Session

NYC independent choreographers and dance companies working in a variety of styles, from contemporary to classical and culturally specific forms, are invited to apply for residencies via the CUNY Dance Initiative. If selected, artists will have the opportunity to rehearse, teach and perform on CUNY campuses across the five boroughs between August 2021 - June 2022.

Individual choreographers and companies planning to apply for a CDI residency are strongly encouraged to attend an information session with the program director. We will review the application guidelines and process, and answer your questions. Please review our guidelines to learn more about the program and the facilities available at each college.

2021-22 residency application deadline: June 8, 2021 at 11:59 EST.
