Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who has worked in superhits films like, 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Bala', 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', 'Saand Ki Aankh', 'Sonchiriya', among several others is one of the most active celebrities on social media,. She always gives fans a sneak peek into her personal and professional life. Now, amid the COVID-19 crisis in the country, Bhumi has been relentless in her COVID relief efforts. Recently, she took to Twitter to urge breast milk donors to come forward for a newborn baby whose mother succumbed to COVID-19. She tweeted, '2 month baby, mother passed from covid,urgently needs breast milk donations near Bankura, West Bengal-lactating mothers who can freeze the milk themselves to directly come forward,he can collect frozen milk once a week from Kolkata, Durgapur, Bankuura, Bishnupur DM @RaveenaPatel'. Meanwhile, through her digital initiative COVID Warrior, Bhumi has been attempting to help patients and their families with the resources they need during the pandemic. A few days back, on her late father Satish Pednekar's birth anniversary, the actress took to her official Instagram account to share a throwback picture and penned a heart-warming post along with it. The 31-year-old star posted an old photo, featuring her father and herself. Clad in a dark blue outfit, little Bhumi can be seen smiling beside her father. Along with the photo, she wrote an emotional post saying she misses her father every second of her life. Alongside the pic, she wrote, 'Happy birthday papa. Now more than ever I feel you with us in everything that we have been doing. Your generosity, empathy, kindness & teachings are our guidance in these times. Love you and miss you every living second of our lives. #SatishPednekar'. As soon as Bhumi Pednekar posted the throwback picture, many celebrities such as Dia Mirza, Vaani Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap and Patralekha, among others, commented on the post. Talking about her work front, Bhumi will be seen next in 'Badhaai Do' with Rajkummar Rao and 'Mr Lele', also starring Vicky Kaushal.
