Share price of Avenue Supermart rises as Nifty weakens

The stock hit a high price of Rs 3052.25 and low of Rs 3000.05 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 9.02 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:18AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.98 crore around that time.

The stock of Avenue Supermarts Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 3328.0 and Rs 1900.0, respectively.

Promoters held 74.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs held 10.17 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 6.59 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7459.8 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, down 1.68 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 7587.32 crore and down 18.58 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 6290.78 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 413.88 crore, up 52.56 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
