Imphal, May 19 2021: In its relentless pursuit to reach out to the local populace amid COVID-19 pandemic, Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (East) organised a Covid awareness and appropriate behaviour drive in Henglep sub-division of Churachandpur district today.

The awareness drive also included a road show to spread awareness on resurgence of COVID-19 and disseminated 'Do's and Don'ts' including the importance of social distancing and vaccination, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.

The residents were also sensitized on adherence to the guidelines of COVID-19 to restrict the community spread of the pandemic and face mask and hand sanitizer were distributed during the event.
