Even as the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic rages on, business process management firms such as Genpact, EXL, Teleperformance and WNS have invoked their business continuity plans, shifted work either to other locations or are focused only on critical work within projects. A big relief for the technology services and especially BPM sector in India was the Department of Telecom permanently relaxing work-from-home guidelines for such firms.
