May 19—A Walton woman has been charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors, along with two probation violation actions, for an incident allegedly involving drugs.

Eve Jane Richardson, 28, was arrested May 12 after visiting a place in Logansport where drugs were being used, court records state.

The charges against her are Level 6 felony possession of a narcotic drug, Level 6 felony possession of methamphetamine, Level 6 felony unlawful possession of a syringe, Class A misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance and Class C misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

A Level 6 felony carries a sentence of six months to 18 months if the person is convicted.

According to court records, the narcotic Richardson possessed was heroin.

Court records also state that Richardson had brought a juvenile to a place where drugs are sold, used or manufactured, and the original booking report showed she was also arrested for neglect of a dependent.

However, no such formal charge was filed against her.

Richardson's initial hearing was May 14, and she was appointed an attorney because of her financial situation.

Her bail is set at $500 cash, and her courts dates are set as July 6 for a pretrial hearing, Aug. 5 for a final pretrial hearing and Aug. 24 for a trial.
