Uttar Pradesh cabinet pays tribute to BJP MLA Vijay Kashyap who died due to covid
Minister of State for revenue and flood control and MLA from Charthawal assembly seat in Muzaffarnagar Vijay Kashyap succumbed to coronavirus at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon.
In an emergency virtual meeting, Uttar Pradesh cabinet today paid tribute to its member and BJP MLA Vijay Kashyap who died due to covid yesterday.
Minister of State for revenue and flood control and MLA from Charthawal assembly seat in Muzaffarnagar Vijay Kashyap succumbed to coronavirus at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon.
Kashyap was The 52 years old Minister was third minister of the state, who lost his life battling Covid. Last year, ministers Chetan Chauhan and Kamla Rani Varun had succumbed to the infection in Lucknow.
Kashyap is the fifth legislator in Uttar Pradesh to have lost the battle to COVID-19 in the second wave.
Earlier former Uttar Pradesh minister and BJP MLA Dal Bahadur Kori, BJP MLAs Kesar Singh Gangwar, Suresh Chandra Srivastava and Auraiya Ramesh Divakar have also died due to covid-19.
