322 new cases, seven deaths in Surat city

SURAT: Surat city recorded 322 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths due to the coronavirus on Tuesday.

According to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) officials, among those who died due to Covid-19 infection included a 40-year-old man from Bhatpore, a 43-year-old woman from Rander, a 45-year-old man from Amroli, a 47-year-old woman from Tadvadi and a 51-year-old woman from Kosad among others.
Highest daily Covid-19 cases were reported from Rander zone (94) followed by 89 in Athwa zone. Udhna zone reported on 16 fresh cases on Tuesday As 322 new Covid-19 cases were reported, 612 patients were discharged after they recovered from the infections on Tuesday.
