Anybody else feel it's better to just date or have many casual relationships, no commitment, and just enjoy your own life? Enrich your own life?
Not make relationship/family as a goal in your life?
-romantic love is an illusion. it is a fleeting chemical high in the brain. If i would be in love forever with my partner then I'd prefer being in a long-lasting relationship. but romantic love doesnt last.
-true love between romantic partners doesn't exist. true love is unconditional and selfless which is the kind of love only a mother has for her children. couples are together to fulfill their own needs and desires. that's why a lot of exes hate each other, "love" becomes hate when they feel betrayed, the love wasn't selfless in the first place. only a mother can still love a child who betrayed her.
-maintaining a relationship is a lot of work and stress, and most do not last.
having a family (a spouse and children) brings a lot of stress, issues and problems in your life.
your spouse will get old, unattractive, fat. you get bored n tired of and you cannot stand your spouse. no more attraction and romance.
your children when they become adult will have their own lives away from your life.
-a truly happy, long-lasting marriage is a rarity. most undivorced couples stay together for varying reasons (financial, for children, for companionship, afraid to be alone etc)
is having a relationship or family really worth it?
i guess it's worth it if you are not an independent person, you are afraid to grow old alone, you need someone to rely on for financial or emotional support, companionship, validation, someone to look after you in old age...
But if you dont have these issues, living freely on your own would be better and happier.

You'd be happier not being in a relationship/having a family.

50 years ago having a family was absolutely goat but now...
Culture is so rotten right now. It's like planting a seed in a barren, toxic soil. Sure you can water the seed and fertilize the ground but in a barren soil that still won't be enough to grow a healthy, strong plant.
That said, it's still possible to have a good relationship and find a good girl but don't make up any Disney bs illusions.
And on a positive note, the bachelor lifestyle for modern western man has never been this attractive as well. Travel is cheaper than ever, technology made it a lot easier in many aspects. The world is your oyster.
Personally I think the bachelor lifestyle is a better prospect now than the family lifestyle in this current cultural climate.

Nah, I've been with my girl five years now and I'm definitely happier than when single.
You just need to find the right girl, of course in the past I've been with girls where I wasn't happy and that's why I'm not with them now.
Find a girl that supports you and has common interests, it's always more fun having someone with you to share in the things you care about.

Unforunately, I agree with this.
Gonna see how things go with the woman I'm currently seeing, but absolutely going to keep her at arms' length. 95% of modern dating is trash and I know from experience the bachelor lifestyle can be an enjoyable one.
There's pros and cons to both. But in clown world, a decent woman is like finding a unicorn*Deadlifts pants after taking a chit crew*
*Typos can go fucl themselves crew*
*Nice miscer crew*
*Loves reps, hates negs crew*
*Faps before workout crew*
*12+ hours of sleep crew*
*Faps during workout crew*
*Hates onions crew*
*Faps after workout crew*
*No fap crew*
