Hyderabad: prices of vegetables, eggs have risen in the city market since closing

Hyderabad: The prices of vegetables and eggs have risen drastically since the lock was introduced in the state. Due to a short relaxation of 4 hours from 06:00 to 10:00, the vegetables do not arrive in sufficient quantities to the markets of the suburbs and districts.

Although there is no restriction on the free movement of vegetables inside and outside the markets, the farmers sell their products at cheap prices to the traders due to transportation problems.

The market traders take advantage of the situation and sell the vegetables at exorbitant prices.
