Ludhiana, May 18

The Municipal Corporation has floated tenders to invite bids for the re-carpeting of the main Ishmeet Singh road.

A stretch of road from the Dana Mandi railway crossing to Dugri Bridge and up to Pakhowal Road will be re-carpeted. Potholes have appeared on the road.

The road passes through three wards 46, 48 and 69. As per the tender documents, the total cost of the project is Rs 2.86 crore, including the cost for road marking with thermoplastic compound and installation of cat eyes.
