Telkom South Africa expects FY HEPS to rise by 145% to 155%

Telkom South Africa expects to report a 145 percent to 155 percent increase in headline earnings per share to between ZAR 5.09 and ZAR 5.31 for the year ended 31 March. In a trading update, it said basic earnings a share are expected to increase by 300 percent to 310 percent to between ZAR 4.84 and ZAR 4.96. Telkom expects a 20 percent rise in group EBITDA and a 30.5-37.6 percent reduction in the reported effective tax rate during the year under review.
