Often tagged as the 'Real hero of India' and 'Messiah' by his loyal fans, actor Sonu Sood is working day and night to help those in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic. From providing oxygen, ventilators to arranging hospital beds and other medical aids, Sonu Sood is doing all his bit. Now the actor has raised concern over doctors recommending an injection or medicine which is not available to the common man. Sonu tweeted, 'One simple question: When everyone knows a particular injection is not available anywhere, why does every doctor recommend that injection only? When the hospitals cannot get that medicine then how will a common man get? Why can't v use a substitute of that medicine & save a life?' Many netizens supported Sonu's argument over the same while others also stated that some medicines do not have a substitute for them. One user wrote, 'No one is talking about alternate or generic medicine. I bet even if they give another medicine name, overnight that will also become scarce', while others commented, 'Because there is no substitute for some, I always wonder how you are able to procure the same when it is not available anywhere ??' Recently, Sonu Sood praised Indian cricketer Karn Sharma for showing support to the Bollywood actor's charity foundation amid these testing times.
