K. Balasubramaniam assumed office as the Collector of Cuddalore district on Wednesday. District Revenue Officer Arun Sathya handed over the charge to him.

Prior to assuming office as Collector, Mr. Balasubramaniam held the post of Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission.
