Trying to buy a sportsbike on that app,. I've messaged like 20 sellers about their bikes and offered asking price on many of the bikes just to get a response
I've been doing this for nearly 2 weeks and haven't gotten a single response
All my offers only appear with one blue checkmark not two so I don't even think my offers are being seen
Anyone have this experience on that app?

Do not buy motorcycles on offerup unless it's a 300cc which you believe was never dropped at speed.
99% of motorcycle owners don't know how to do anything more than an oil change. If it's around 11k miles, either they pay a dealer to do the valve lash adjustment $1000, or they ride that **** until it burns a valve and blows the motor. If it's above 11k miles it better have proof of it having a valve lash adjustment otherwise it's going to melt a valve or drop a valve on your next ride.
I bought a 600cc motorcycle which appeared good but nearly every bolt that the average joe would have access to, was stripped and I had to extract 4 bolts. I also had to drop the motor and split the case to replace the timing inspection cover since the plug was stripped as well. Also had to drop the swing arm and undo the exhaust to replace the oil pan since the oil plug was stripped to. Was a nightmare of a bike but now it runs like a dream. Luckily even though it was wheelied to hell, the valve clearances were exactly at their service interval so I know the motor still has an another 20k miles before another valve check is needed. The transmission is probably another nightmare, but the good thing is bikes get wrecked so often that the parts get auctioned off and you get cheap replacement stuff. You can find transmission gears for motorcycles with less than 1k miles on them for a few hundred bucks.
I bought a sweet camry off offerup which only had rear end damage that was fixed. I got under the car and checked all the frame rails, for 60k miles and all the dealer maintenance it was an absolute steal. That's what we do in this ****, brah.
