M-net to connect 3,200 more buildings to fibre in Munich

German regional operator M-net said it will connect 3,200 more buildings in Munich to its fibre network by 2023, in cooperation with utility company Stadtwerke Muenchen (SWM). The companies will expand the network in Balanstrasse, Blumenau and Laim-Mitte, supplying a total of 17,000 additional residential and commercial units in the Bavarian capital with gigabit connections.
