Abhay Kumar Giri inspects Covid centres in Kakching A/C

Thoubal, May 18 2021: Abhay Kumar Giri, Organizational General Secretary of BJP Manipur State carried out inspection visit in Community Home Isolation Centres (CHIC), Covid Care Centres (CCC), private hospitals which treats Covid patients and took a stock of the condition of those who are under home isolation in Kakching Assembly Constituency today.

MLA of Kakching A/C, Mayanglambam Rameshwor accompanied him during the visit and also distributed relief items to the locals.

Abhay Giri went to CHICs in ITI, Kha Manipur College, Kakching and in Kakching Makha High School and also visited CCC at Kakching Higher Secondary School.

He also checked the condition at CCCs opened at Jivan Hospital and Ima Hospital during the visit.

Further he went on to check the condition of those who are under home isolation at Irengband and Pallel of Kakching A/C and also gave awareness to them on COVID-19 and wished them for a speedy recovery.

During the visit, he distributed face masks, hand sanitizers and hand gloves.

Mayanglambam Rameshwor also distributed relief items which included 10 kgs of rice each, edible oil, pulses and vegetables to households under home isolation at Kakching Irengband and Pallel.

Speaking on the occasion, M Rameshwor assured of providing medicines and to supply oxygen to those who are in need in a bid to fight against the COVID-19 under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

Further he stated that he will request the Chief Minister to open oxygen plants in Kakching A/C as well to ensure that there is regular supply of oxygen in the constituency and appealed to all to contribute in overcoming the deadly pandemic.

P Somorjit, secretary of BJP Manipur Pradesh and in charge of BJP Kakching district, U Ibomcha, president of BJP Kakching district, Sh Shyamjai, president of Kakching Mandal along with its members accompanied Abhay Giri in today's visit.
