Max Armstrong visited with Dan Glickman's new book: Laughing at myself: My education in Congress, on the farm and at the movies. From Glickman's view, there's been favoritism toward large farms. As small farms struggle, they look to Washington D.C. for assistance. While Glickman was at the USDA, he worked to help smaller producers, and tried to cap payments to larger farms.
