Woman Trains To Predict Lottery Numbers Because 'Time Isn't Real'
The chances of winning a Pick 3 lottery is one in 1,000, but this TikTok user is counting on making it 100%.
Most people have superstitions when it comes to winning the lottery—certain places to buy the ticket or specific numbers. TikTok user @ohmarni, however, is documenting her attempt to train her brain to be able to predict the winning numbers.
"This is going to sound absolutely crazy," she prefaces the clip. "Because time isn't real, I'm going to use it to win the lottery."
"I know I sound absolutely crazy but hear me out. If the future is technically not real, and it's happening all at once, that means I should be able to access the future me in two hours and ask her what the winning numbers are," she continues.
"Now, my issue is, how do I contact my future self? And I have an idea. I'm going to have a notebook and I'm going to write down what I think the winning numbers are and when I actually find the winning numbers I'll write it down in the book. Basically, I'm going to try and train myself. When I look at the page, I will see the winning numbers...technically in the future," Marni attempts to explain.
@ohmarni So, time isn’t real and I’ll use it to win the lottery. Happy Monday. ✨💀 #manifesting #manifestation #spiritualtok #intuitiontok

After various confused comments, the TikToker continued to explain her plan of action again. "The concept is muscle memory. Basically when someone wants to study or learn something, they write it over and over. So what I'm going to do is once the winning lottery numbers are revealed, I'm going to write them over and over," she says.
"Ideally, when it's time to actually play, this 'futuristic muscle memory' would kick in and I'll automatically write the correct number."
Marni appears to be referencing the "block universe theory," which suggests that the past, present and future are all existing simultaneously. Many of Marni's other videos reference her spirituality too and belief in the tool of manifestation.
@ohmarni Reply to @hardcorare I hope this makes sense!!

The TikToker shared her first attempt at predicting the lottery numbers on May 18, but it didn't turn out as she hoped. "Let's say it was a hashtag failure," she says. "I am so ashamed, my intuition was drunk."
Marni picked the numbers five, three and one. May 18's numbers were nine, zero and four. Viewers however noted that each number was three away from the winning number—a step in the right direction in their eyes.
"Don't worry, I'm not deterred. We're doing this again," reassured Marni in a comment.
