BICHOLIM: The vaccination drive that is being carried out at various centres in Bicholim taluka for 18 to 44 years age group is witnessing a overwheling response from many youth, including Covid warriors.
Around 496 persons have been vaccinated at various vaccination centres - 153 at Dayanand High School Chorao, 183 at Government College of Arts Science and Commerce, Sankhali and 160 at Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Sarvan.
Mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit, who is the incharge of vaccination centres, also inspected vaccination centres in Bicholim taluka to review its working.
Meanwhile, Pandit informed that the state government has planned to open vaccination slots for the 18 to 44 age group on May 18 onwards for the next four days on the
Co-Win portal and Aarogya Setu app, at 12pm.
