Julia Simpson has been appointed as the new President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). She takes on the role from Gloria Guevara and her new role will be effective from August 15, 2021. Julia Simpson is currently a part of the Executive Committee Member of International Airlines Group (IAG).
Simpson brings extensive experience of the Travel & Tourism sector, having served on the boards of British Airways, Iberia and most recently as Chief of Staff at International Airlines Group. She previously worked at senior levels in the UK Government including advisor for the UK Prime Minister.
