Optus, Curtin University open 5G lab in Western Australia

Optus and Curtin University have opened a 5G research lab in Western Australia. At launch, Optus demonstrated its Optus 5G network and connectivity to deliver remote robot interaction and operation; remote training of vision impaired people in the use of guide dogs; remote monitoring of brain activity for epileptic events through subdural EEG recordings; and a new visual immersive platform for remote learning.
