Covid-19: 1,542 new cases detected in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, May 18 (UNI) As many as 1,542 fresh Covid-19 patients and 35 deaths were reported in a single day today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 90,971 and the toll to 3,139, respectively.
On the other hand, 961 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking overall count of recoveries to 73,970.
There are now 13,862 active cases in the district, an official report said.
