Share price of Power Finance Corp. rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. gained 1.64 per cent to Rs 117.5 in Tuesday's trade as of 11:48AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 118.25 and low of Rs 116.5 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 14.41 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:48AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.38 crore around that time.

The stock of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 140.5 and Rs 74.2, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.57.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 55.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while foreign investors held 17.32 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 19.55 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 18441.72 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 1.49 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 18171.41 crore and up 16.15 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 15878.04 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 2893.7 crore, up 11.41 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
