The state`s death toll mounted to 336 after 16 people succumbed to the deadly virus on Monday.
The north-eastern state has received 23,966 confirmed cases till date.
The cumulative recoveries reached 18,715 after 237 under-treatment patients recovered from the Covid-19 in the state.
443 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 15 in West Garo Hills, 3 in West Khasi Hills, 12 in East Jaintia Hills, 89 in Ri Bhoi, 41 in West Jaintia Hills, 7 in South West Garo Hills, and 21 in North Garo Hills.
Of the fresh fatalities, Director Health Services(MI), Dr. Aman War said 15 were reported from East Khali Hills, and one each in West Jaintia Hills district and East Jaintia Hills district.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday announced the extension of the lockdown in the most affected East Khasi Hills district to May 24. The decision to extend the lockdown by one week was taken after reviewing the Covid-19 situation in the district.
