Restarting Stronglifts after a break: 3x5 or 5x5

I did stronglifts from Sept until Mid April and then took a break for a month. In that time some I ended up on 3x5 on all the lifts after deloading a few times. I'm restarting and going to deload significantly since I took a month off. I was going to do a 50% deload. Is this reasonable? Also if I drop my weights that much I'll be in the range where I was on 5x5 during my first go round. Should I go back to 5x5 or stay on 3x5? Thanks.

Consider starting on 5x5, see how it goes, then re-visit whether to switch to 3x5 once it gets too hard. But you might also take this opportunity to try a diff program altogether.

If you took a month off, you don't need to deload.
I can tell time. Time cannot tell me.

Formerly LactoseTolerant. I'm not very imaginative.
