Hey guys - I'm new around here so bear with me.
So For the last three weeks, I started hitting the gym really hard. I decided that I was going to get into the best shape of my life, and was gamifying the ordeal with my Apple Watch. I was doing cardio everyday, and went really hard in the gym the other days.
So last week I decided to have three really heavy weight lifting sessions - I thought at first that I pulled a muscle in my back doing a bench press, but being 37, I've thrown out my back before. This was different. I noticed that I had full mobility - I could bend normally, but I kept feeling different waves of pain. When I took a hot shower it felt like no injury had even happened. I thought it was odd, but kept working out.
A rash started developing under my right pec, and I went online and found that people thought it was a heat rash. I sent a picture to my cousin who is a doctor - dude says "that looks like singles" and he then asked me some questions. It's all only on the right side of my body.
I don't have insurance right now so there isn't much I can do about it except ride it out. Anyone have any experience with this disease? I'm aware now that I can give it to other people but it's only on my chest and back. I felt really ****ty for one day but other than the uncomfortable rash, I'm still working and doing work no problem. I'm taking it easy from the gym until it is gone. If I start pushing myself again, will it come back? Any insight anyone has on this topic would be appreciated. I want to get into the best shape of my life over the next 18 months.
Thanks
