Jagtial: People praise KCR for approving medical college

Jagtial: People from all parts of society praised Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his decision to establish a medical college in the district.

Several sections of society thanked the Prime Minister on Tuesday for fulfilling the long-standing dream of the people of Jagitial to have a medical college in the district.

Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday announced plans to establish medical colleges in six districts across the state as part of efforts to sharpen medical infrastructure in Telangana. Jagitial is one of six districts identified to establish not only a medical college but also a nursing college.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders, led by the decision of the Prime Minister, led by the local MLA, dr. M Sanjay Kumar, performed palabhishekam (milk bath) on Tuesday on the portrait of the former at the MLA’s camp office.

MLC K Kavitha also responded to the Prime Minister’s decision on her Twitter account and thanked him for identifying Jagitial for the proposed medical and nursing colleges.

The prime minister created Jagitial district during the administrative reforms and always extended his support for the development of the district.
