Share price of Marico falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Ltd. slipped 0.86 per cent to Rs 470.9 in Tuesday's trade as of 12:55PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 480.8 and low of Rs 469.55 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 34.05 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:55PM shares and turnover at Rs 3.07 crore around that time.

The stock of Marico Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 488.0 and Rs 305.0, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.8.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 59.61 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs held 24.04 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 10.06 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2041.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, down 4.89 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2146.0 crore and down 33.57 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1528.0 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 219.0 crore, up 12.89 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
