Shares of
WABCO India rose after the company posted a net profit of Rs47.63cr, up by 51.21% in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs31.50cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.
The sales of the company rose 75.95% to Rs712.32cr in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs404.85cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.
The board of WABCO India concluded on a sizable footprint expansion in the vicinity of Chennai. The new location will support local market growth as well as our continuous export growth, the company said in the filing.
WABCO India Ltd is currently trading at Rs6,821.15 up by Rs97.95 or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs6,723.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs6,650 and has touched a high and low of Rs6,825.05 and Rs6,384.05 respectively.
