The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has deferred the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2021 until further notice. The decision has been taken due to the ongoing crisis across the country.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on 20 June but now stands postponed. The new dates will be announced after reviewing the situation as per the guidelines issued by both the central and the state governments.
The last date to apply for UGET 2021 has also been extended till 15 July. Those who wish to apply can do it by visiting the official website — comedk.org.
Aspirants can follow these steps to apply:
1. Visit the website https://www.comedk.org/
2. Register yourself. Link is available at the top right-hand corner of the website
3. Enter the required details. Generate OTP and enter
4. Login using id and password. Start filling the application form
5. Upload all the relevant documents
6. Pay the fee online and submit the form
7. Save a copy and take a printout (if required) for future reference

The registration fee is Rs 1,800 plus convenience fee/charges for all category students.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised educational board. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with English as a compulsory subject.
A general category student must have scored at least 45 percent aggregate in PCM. The cut off for SC, ST, and OBC candidates is 40 percent.
The diploma holders cannot apply for the exam as there is no lateral entry system.
